  • Unique historical location with many opporunities for photos

CON's

  • El Morro requires a long and exposed walk to the gates, it can be grueling
  • There are no transport options
  • Only elopements are possible here
  • San Juan in general is a big city, with big city noises, traffic, onlookers, etc
  • Cannot fly the drone for video and photo, as it is prohibited by the National Park Service
  • Not all services are possible
  • El Morro is a stone fortress with little shade, it gets very hot
  • No celebration possibilities
  • Additional fees apply
  • Requires a permit from the National Parks Service including special events and liability insurance
  • Only available before and after park hours
