La Rogativa

The gorgeous and historic La Rogativa features an iconic turret and 400-year-old fortress walls, but the real star of the show is a statue to honor the brave women who saved San Juan from British invasion in 1797 (if you are a history buff, you can read more here)

  • San Juan in general is a big city, with big city noises, traffic, onlookers, etc
  • Cannot fly the drone for video and photo, as it is prohibited by the National Park Service

  • La Rogativa is a part stone fortress with little shade, it gets very hot
  • No celebration possibilities

The best decision!

Having a destination wedding was the best decision we could’ve made. The scenery is amazing, the weather is beautiful and the intimacy was most important. Our immediate family was there to support and love us on this precious day. We felt calm, relaxed and everything felt right. When we said our vows it honestly felt like no one else was there but me and my husband.
