  • Old San Juan is hot hot hot
  • With our bright Caribbean sun, it can feel like a frying pan, with historic and thick old city walls trapping the heat inside and blocking all the wind
  • It’s beautiful, but not a great option if you don’t want to end up hot and sweaty on your wedding day
  • No humpback whale sightings this far east on the island (in season, January-April)
  • San Juan in general is a big city, with big city noises, traffic, onlookers, etc
  • Limited services are possible
