So we were happy to help when Casey & Josh contacted us several months before their vacation to Puerto Rico, asking about unique destination wedding venues in Puerto Rico. They wanted a simple and beautiful open-air wedding in a stunning location. We chose with them the beautiful Puerto Hermina, home to a gorgeous beach, lush cliffs as a backdrop, and amazing ruins rumored to be left over from pirate times. It was the perfect open-air wedding venue.
Like many of the couples with whom we work here at Puerto Rico Destination Weddings, they wanted their open-air wedding to be easy, beautiful, and intimate. Our Puerto Rico barefoot on the beach package provided all that – and more. The package includes a great photographer, Angel Rivera, and our amazing videographer, Marquez Photography, to complete the team. We decorated simply, using draped fabric to create a wedding arbor within The Ruins of Puerto Hermina. Hair and makeup artist (Ninah Gil Bridal) helped Casey get ready at her hotel on the day of her wedding. All they had to do was show up!

Puerto Rico Destination Weddings was amazing!
When we started planning our wedding, my now husband and I were starting to feel very overwhelmed with all of the decisions we would have to make. With neither of us being very decisive people, this was starting to cause anxiety. That’s when we started looking into doing a destination wedding. I’m SO Happy we found Ashley and Puerto Rico Destination Wedding!
After my first email with Ashley, I knew we made the right choice. Having to only really make a few decisions, and not having to get our own vendors (photos, video, flowers, hair/makeup) was so great for us. Ashley and her team made the our wedding so easy. We literally just showed up the day of.
The wedding turned out more beautiful than we could ever imagined and it was so nice going into it relaxed and not stressed or worrying about all of the little details.
