We’re proud to say that gay weddings are very important to our business. Puerto Rico Destination Weddings Inc. was founded at a time when same-sex marriage was not legal in the United States and its territories, so we celebrated with the rest of the country when the Supreme Court struck down all same-sex marriage bans in 2015. Our LGBTQ+ couples deserve a wedding day that is 110% supportive of their love, and we’re delighted to deliver.

We’ve had so many wonderful LGBTQ+ weddings already this year that we’d love to share with you! Let’s celebrate love is love!

Melissa & Kelly

Melissa & Kelly wanted to elope in Puerto Rico. They contacted us a month before their wedding and we were able to bring their vision to life and get them legally married in Puerto Rico. Their day was stress-free and easy, just as a wedding day should be!

Maia & Nataly

Maia & Nataly booked with us just a couple of weeks before their elopement. This beautiful couple met as teenagers when they worked together at a movie theater. Over the years, their love grew, and they knew they’d found their ‘person’.

Heather & Melissa

We love hearing about our couple’s wedding experiences! Heather & Melissa shared this after their wedding:

“Thank you for an amazing day. It was so perfect: the setting, the music, all the wonderful people. You all made it so special for us!”

-Heather & Melissa

Melissa & Samira

We had fun getting to know Melissa & Samira over the months of planning their wedding. They chose our Monstera Package at Hacienda222 to celebrate with their family and friends!
“We had the most perfect wedding 🥰 Thank you for making our day so magical”
-Melissa & Samira

Melanie & Cynthia

Melanie & Cynthia booked our Sea Grapes package. They enjoyed a beautiful beach wedding ceremony followed by a celebration at Hacienda222!

Michelle & Taylor

Last but certainly not least, we have the commitment ceremony of Michelle & Taylor. It was important to them that their ceremony not be about gender, or traditional gender roles or wedding traditions at all. We were thrilled to be able to work with them to create a day that felt uniquely theirs.

It’s truly an honor to be a part of our couples’ important days. Regardless of sexual orientation, gender, race, preferences, or anything else, if you have a special event in mind, we’d love to help!
