As we write this from our home office in Puerto Rico, we’re on day 3 of the strictest lockdown in the USA, and our governor has asked the FAA to shut down Puerto Rico’s airports.
We wholeheartedly support and applaud these efforts. We live on an island with an already compromised healthcare system and a disproportionately high elderly population. We can and will take all precautions necessary to protect our island and her people, as well as our global society in general.
We here at Puerto Rico Destination Weddings, Inc., are working remotely from our homes, in keeping with the governor’s lockdown. We are maintaining reduced hours, available via phone and email, 8 am-12 noon EST every day. To our existing customers whose wedding plans are in question, we are here, to answer your questions and present ever-changing options. For everyone out there looking to use extended lockdown time to plan a wedding or consider future wedding options, we are available.
The day that relevant lockdowns and travel bans end, and that each and every member of our team feels safe being a part of your wedding, we’ll be open for business and ready to continue providing beautiful and effortless wedding day experiences. We are proud to be a part of the resilient network of local business owners in Puerto Rico. We will be here for you, and for your future weddings.
In the meanwhile, we’ll stay in touch via phone and email. Most importantly, stay home and safe, and protect yourselves, your loved ones, and our society.
