Saludos all!

I hope this message finds everyone well and healthy. Puerto Rico is like much of the rest of the world…..we’re all enjoying the outdoors as much as possible, while looking forward to Navidad, and, after that, 2021!

Both island lIfe and travel continue to return to (our new) normal. Couples and loved ones are coming and going with ease on the island, with negative Covid tests on arrival. Masks are the norm at all enclosed spaces, and social life has shifted a bit from bars and restaurants to the beaches and outdoors, which is fine by us.

This month, we’re happy to highlight one of our happy couples, the beautiful Shelbie & Veronica. Read on to learn more about the legalities of getting married in Puerto Rico. One 2020 silver lining is that it’s never been easier, as the government system is now fully online. Finally, we talk a bit about one of our most popular add-on services to our elopements, our decor package.

It looks to be a busy winter season, which makes us both excited and grateful! If you aren’t following us already on social media (IG, FB, Pinterest, YouTube), keep an eye out there for our happy couples, especially in our new facilities.

Have a wonderful month, everyone …. And join us in looking forward to 2021!

Best,

Q & A Spotlight

Q: Can U.S. Citizens be legally married in Puerto Rico?

A: Yes! Puerto Rico is a commonwealth of the U.S., and Puerto Rican citizens are U.S. citizens. There are a few unique paperwork requirements that we can help you with, and it’s all done online. But it’s easy to do, and easy to get here. U.S. citizens don’t even need a passport! In fact, Puerto Rico is one of the easiest places in the Caribbean to be married. There is no waiting period to get married in Puerto Rico; we even work with cruise ship passengers who get married while on their five-hour shore excursion. Gay marriage is legal. There are many reasons that Puerto Rico is the best place for a destination wedding.
