Adventure elopements are for couples who like to push the boundaries, and have their wedding day, their way. Our adventure elopers aren’t afraid to ‘trash the dress’, or go for a little hike on their wedding day. A sense of adventure can pay off in a big way as seen in the gorgeous wedding of Wideby & Gian Carlo at Gozalandia Falls in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico.
Wildeby & Gian Carlo’s intimate ceremony paid tribute to the native people of Puerto Rico, the Tainos, and highlighted some of Puerto Rico’s most stunning natural beauty.
How is this for a walk down the aisle? Wildeby & Gian Carlo weren’t afraid to get their feet wet on their wedding day.
Wildeby & Gian Carlo’s wedding ceremony included elements that honor their Taino (native Puerto Rican) heritage. Including the blowing of the conch shell and the salute of the seven directions, used by the Tainos to announce an important event.
What a gorgeous moment, captured by our photographer, with the waterfall and its spray as background.
This adventure elopement was the perfect way of Wildeby & Gian Carlo to start this new chapter of their lives together.
We are honored that Wildeby & Gian Carlo chose Puerto Rico Destination Weddings, Inc. to create this special day for them. Felicidades to the happy couple!
