Jennifer & Mark’s Simple Elopement

When we started performing weddings as Puerto Rico Destination Weddings, Inc., over 8 years ago, most of our weddings were simple elopements. Over the years we have expanded our offerings to meet our couple’s requests. We’ve added various wedding packages, including packages for vow renewals and celebrations. And we’ve built our beloved cliffside wedding venue, Hacienda222. We love sharing about all the latest goings-on at PRDW but those simple elopements will always hold a special place in our hearts. Just two people who love each other, in a gorgeous place, making a commitment to one another. What could be more beautiful? Today, we want to share one of those simple elopements with you.

The wedding of Jennifer & Mark is a perfect example of our sweet, simple elopements. This lovely couple contacted us in mid-February hoping to get married at the beginning of March. When people think of weddings they often think of months and even years of stressful planning, but it doesn’t have to be that way! As soon as Jennifer said go, we were fast at work at creating a beautiful wedding day for her and her groom.

Jennifer & Mark chose Guajataca Tunnel for their wedding location. Guajataca Tunnel is a popular spot as it is one of our closest beach wedding venues to San Juan. It features dramatic cliffs, a shady palm grove, stunning beaches, and a picturesque train tunnel.

These simple elopements with no setup give you some freedom in choosing where your wedding ceremony will take place. Jennifer & Mark met their wedding day team in the parking area at Guajataca Tunnel. From there, they walked onto the beach and found the perfect spot that spoke to them.

After their wedding ceremony, Jennifer & Mark, accompanied by their photographer, took in the beautiful sights at Guajataca Tunnel while taking gorgeous wedding photos that they will treasure for a lifetime!
