We have a special place in our hearts for destination vow renewals. There is something so beautiful and touching about couples celebrating the years they have shared together and recommitting themselves to growing old together! In this week’s Friday Five, we’re delighted to share some of our favorite destination vow renewals with you!
#5 Belinda & Danan
Belinda & Danan celebrated their vow renewal at Puerto Hermina in Quebradillas. Belinda wore a Greek inspired flowing white gown accented by a beautiful bouquet in our Tropical Fiesta colors. The couple topped the day off with beachside cake and champagne. You can tell they have learned from their years of marriage by this gentle moment, no cake fight here!
#4 Liz & Jake
Liz & Jake dreamed of a beautiful wedding, but life happenings caused them to keep it simple at a courthouse ceremony when they first said I Do. They knew that as soon as they got the chance they wanted to have a beautiful wedding ceremony. They decided to renew their vows in Puerto Rico with their friends and loved ones in attendance. What a sweet day they had!
#3 April & David
April & David came to us recently with plans to renew their vows for their 10-year wedding anniversary. Despite the ongoing pandemic, we were able to give them a safe and beautiful way to express their love in a beautiful vow renewal ceremony at The Ruins in Aguadilla, with a gorgeous sunset as a background.
#2 Marcie & David
Marcie & David and some of their closest friends renewed their vows as part of a cruise ship shore excursion. They were picked up from their cruise ship by a stretch white limousine and driven to their beautiful venue at Puerto Hermina in style. They celebrated their vow renewal under a gorgeous wedding arbor surrounded by locally harvested pampas grass. And they were back on their cruise ship with plenty of time to depart to their next port of call.
#1 Julie & Ed
Julie & Ed’s beautiful vow renewal took place on the rooftop of 352 Guesthouse in Old San Juan. Ed reached out to us in advance of their family vacation to Puerto Rico. He wanted to surprise his wife with a vow renewal for their 15th wedding anniversary. Ed confided that he’s not very skilled at keeping secrets and would need our help to pull this off. We got straight to work and we were thrilled when Julie was (very pleasantly) surprised.
