At Puerto Rico Destination Weddings, Inc., we pride ourselves on creating stress-free, beautiful weddings. We want to share some of the things we’ve learned along the way for tips for your own stress-free wedding.
#5 Plan a Destination Wedding K.I.S.S.
If your goal is a stress-free wedding, it is best to start by simplicity. We believe in the K.I.S.S. philosophy: Keep it Simple and Straightforward. Let nature speak for itself. We can’t think of a better way to start your marriage than going somewhere beautiful, and relaxing with the people you love most in the world. We certainly think it is the best way to create a foundation for a stress-free wedding.
#4 Book an All-Inclusive Wedding Package!
The best advice we can give you for a stress-free wedding is to choose an all-inclusive wedding package with Puerto Rico Destination Weddings, Inc. If you want your wedding to be stress-free, you have to start with the right professionals. Through our experiences with hundreds of weddings, we’ve already chosen and worked extensively with the best vendors for your all-inclusive wedding package. Our team is the best of the best, and we’ve perfected the art of simple, beautiful weddings. We take care of every detail so that all you have to do is show up!
#3 Focus on What Matters
Your wedding day is important because this is the day that you and your partner have chosen to make a lifetime commitment to each other. This day is a celebration of your love! Everything else is a detail. As long as you keep that at the front of your mind, all the other small details will fall into their proper place. (And, with an all-inclusive wedding package like #2, you can just leave all the details to us!)
#2 Have a Relaxing Morning
On your wedding day, start your day in a way that relaxes you. Maybe you have a regular routine that helps set the tone for your day, a time of meditation, or exercise. It could be a walk on the beach. Whatever you choose, take the time to start your day with self-care. Deep breathing is a great, quick stress reliever, whether in the morning or the moments just prior to your ceremony. There are plenty of guided videos on YouTube but you can also get some pointers as described here.
#1 Be Flexible
Travel always involves a degree of flexibility, even more so when a wedding is involved. Island living and weather mean it’s important to be open to change, and we always have a plan B in mind for hiccups that might come up. Trust that everything will turn out exactly as it was supposed to, even if it might not always be as you originally planned!
Some might think stress and weddings go hand-in-hand, but hundreds of our happy couples would agree that if you follow our Five Tips for a Stress-Free Wedding, your wedding day will be full of joy and celebration!
